A wonderfully beautiful engagement session at the gorgeous Eno River in Durham, North Carolina! Jess and Sean are one awesome couple and I could not have been more happy to photograph their love! After months of planning then more months of re-planning due to weather conflicts we finally had a set date and we headed out to Eno River to create some magic! Needless to say magic and love was captured and I fell instantly in love with ALL the photos! I hope ya’ll enjoy them! Read More »
I am so excited to be sharing my first coastal wedding! I never thought I’d be shooting a wedding in Wilmington so soon, but here I am! Caitlin and Ethan were my first wedding to kick off the spring/summer wedding season for me and I was super happy to be a part of their special day!
Their wedding ceremony and reception was held at the historic Burgwin-Wright House located in downtown Wilmington, it’s also one of the oldest buildings in downtown Wilmington. With the gorgeous house, beautiful tiered gardens with lush greenery and colorful flowers it was not hard to capture some magic that day! The whole day was very relaxed, probably the most laid back wedding I’ve photographed yet. Caitlin and Ethan just focused on getting married and having a wonderful day and nothing was going to stop them!
There is definite love between the two of them and getting to capture it was such a pleasure! Hope you enjoy the photos!
My first engagement session in soooooo long and it could have not gone any better! Brittany and Miguel are one seriously in love couple and I had such a fantastic time photographing their session at Fisher Park in Greensboro. The both of them were so natural in front of the camera, made it super easy to photograph and capture their love fore each other.
What’s even better is that I get to photograph their wedding later this month! Stay tuned for more wonderful and stunning images from this beautiful couple!
It wasn’t far into the new year until I had my first wedding (my first January wedding I might add) and I could not have been more excited!! Annie and Thomas had such a gorgeous, intimate wedding at Rolling Hills Farm on a mildly warm day in January. They are one seriously in love couple and I had a blast photographing their special day! There was so much love and joy that day it was hard not to capture it in every single image.
I hope ya’ll enjoy these lovely images as much as I do!
Dyani and Mario are one energetic couple and I had a blast photographing their wedding! Meeting the both of them and seeing how much they have for each other and getting to capture it was a pleasure! The venue of their wedding, nestled in downtown High Point, Villa De l’Amour is one gorgeous venue and it was the perfect setting for their special day.
Everyone involved in their wedding had such wonderful personalities and I loved getting to work with all of them. Their ceremony was gorgeous and definitely loved-filled. I always love it when couples do special traditions during their ceremonies, such as unity candles and jumping the broom.
As their special day continued and when the music started playing and everyone began dancing that’s when the fun really started! I don’t think I ever put my camera down during the reception there was so much energy, laughs and fun that evening that photographing it was a blast!
All their pictures turned out so gorgeous and I am so proud to be sharing them with ya’ll!
What a perfect way to kick off the new season of weddings for Sean Szitas Photography! I was so happy to work with Allie and Anders and to be apart of their special day! Held on a warm Friday late September, right when the leaves were beginning to change but summer’s heat was still thick in the air, Allie and Anders tied the knot. It was a day full of laughs, full of love and great moments. From their quirky quotes recited during the ceremony of true, everlasting love to the special music preformed their close family and friends, Allie and Anders’ day was very unique and special. I considered myself lucky to be apart of it and be able to capture it. It was also nice to have my hands back on my camera and shooting a wedding again and it made me even more ecstatic to be shooting more this season!

Hi everyone! Very exciting news! I am finally posting my very first ever styled shoot!! I have been trying for over a year to get together a styled shoot for myself and I couldn’t be happier with the results.Getting a chance to gather elements from all your favorite weddings and getting to work with other vendors is always exciting and fun. I was wanting to do a styled shoot that had a classic feel with a Bohemian flare. Huge shout-out to Tre Bella Bridal for providing the dress (styled by Pronovias) and for also making the stunning bouquet! Also to Make Up for Your Day located in Raleigh, North Carolina for the hair and make up. Lastly, to Olivia who did a wonderful job modeling I am already in the works of assembling another styled shoot, but bigger and better!! Stay tuned everyone (:
One of my best friends Shannon is no stranger to being in front of the camera, she has been a spectacular model for in past photo shoots. We have discussed doing a couple session for her and her boyfriend Ben for a while and I was so glad that our schedules linked up so we could actually do it! Bracing the extreme heat (this has been one of the hottest summers) and putting on our smiles we ventured into the woods of Umstead Park in Raleigh. It was a gorgeous park, the light trickled through the trees beautifully! Although we did become victims to a chigger nest (their bites are vicious!!) we had a blast and the images definitely show the great time and the love between Shannon and Ben. Can’t wait for more shoots in the Triangle!
I had been looking forward to this wedding for most of 2015 and when it finally came to all my expectations had been met! Kelsie and Mike are one couple that’s seriously in love and every photo I took of them that day was bursting with their love for each other! The venue, Stonewall Farms, was a beautiful location that fit their wedding perfectly. To the Ferris Wheels with pictures of their years together, the sunflowers, the carnival-themed food and the endless dancing made their day so unique! It’s so amazing to see how every wedding I photograph is so different from one another, this one was one of the most unique weddings I’ve shot and I couldn’t be happier that I got to share their special day (: Read More »
I love when I get to work with clients more than once! I had worked with Brittany in June 2014, doing shots of her running that she would submit to a contest to be featured in a women’s running magazine. A year later, when Brittany contacted me knowing that her boyfriend Jason would be popping the question soon she asked if I would do their photos. I was so happy and even happier when two weeks later she shows me a video of him surprising her with a proposal! I was in tears–it was so cute!! We went out in early July to Hagan Stone Park in Pleasant Garden to do their photos. The heat was almost unbearable, but it didn’t hold us back. (I looked at myself after the shoot and was relieved I wasn’t being photographed–I was a hot mess) The entire session was so much fun, you can’t help but see the love they have for each other in every image and I couldn’t get enough of it myself! Editing these photos was just as much fun as it was photographing. Both of them are very active people, as stated before, Brittany is a runner and loves to run in marathons and races and Jason loves to bike. They wanted to express that in some photos, seeing how it was a big part of who they are. I loved it and embraced the idea and the photos for that part turned out great and made the session more unique and fun! I used mostly my 50mm 1.4 lens and my wide angle lens for the shoot and used white reflectors to add some nice kiss of light. I loved this location, the greenery and the way the light pours into the woods. It was the paragon of all engagement sessions for me, wish I had more clients getting engaged *wink, wink* Read More »
